Eco Carpentry Challenge 2017

Alternative School student and teacher

The Alternative School entered the Furniture Trust’s Annual Signature event The Eco Carpentry Challenge on 5/4/17 at District Hall in Boston. Businesses engage The Trust for a sustainable solution during renovation and relocation projects to prevent the accumulation of furniture in landfills by connecting reusable products with local schools and non-profits.

All-City Summer Band and Orchestra Program

The Worcester Public Schools All-City Summer Band and Orchestra Program allows students to participate in sectionals, lessons and ensemble work with other students from throughout the Worcester Public Schools.

Stand for the Silent

The Worcester Public Schools will once again take part of the “Stand for the Silent" Day. Stand for the Silent has become one of the leading and most effective anti-bullying organizations, whose mission is to bring awareness to bullying and the real devastation it causes.
